“Don’t show to anyone”

I poured my heart and soul into this work. As I continue to take on new challenges, the thoughts I put into this shoot are based on my past experiences and my hopes for the future.

I was bullied in the past and was plagued by loneliness and distrust, and I couldn't put my feelings into words. That's why, in this work, I wanted to express the emotions hidden deep within my heart. I used the silence and shadows of the forest, as well as tears, to express sadness.

The light on the model's back has a special meaning. It represents the fact that by confiding your troubles to a friend, a bright future awaits. For me, this work is important, inspiring people to take a step forward and have hope.

I would be happy if this shoot can inspire and sympathize with people who have experienced the same thing.

"GOES GOTH"

Beauty lives in the shadows.

In Goes Goth, darkness becomes a language of its own — one that whispers through moss, fog, and silence. Set in Aokigahara, Japan’s fabled Sea of Trees, Teppei Oda’s vision reimagines the Gothic spirit not as costume, but as consciousness. Here, the forest breathes like a living archive — a mirror of human emotion where decay meets transcendence.

The silhouettes — structured, abstract, and otherworldly — emerge from the undergrowth like spectral figures. Each movement blurs futurism with folklore, restraint with rebellion. This is not the Goth of nostalgia, but of Neo-noir Futurism: a world where tailoring becomes ritual, and darkness becomes design.

In Oda’s lens, Gothic isn’t an escape — it’s an evolution. It’s the quiet power of introspection, the poetics of solitude, and the timeless allure of shadowed elegance.

For the styling, Raimu Yamazaki draws from the depth of Japanese Gothic heritage — echoing the rebellious spirit of Rei Kawakubo — blending vintage pieces with avant-garde samples by ANDY and ethereal form from MORIMORI.
