I am Yamazaki, a Tokyo-based stylist.

To me, styling is not merely the act of combining garments; it is a form of expression capable of standing alone as a work of art. While each creation embodies a definitive answer, I believe its true essence lies in the space left for the viewer—an invitation to first sense something intuitively and then take the time to unravel its meaning.

 

I launched my career as a professional stylist this year, having struck out on my own without prior experience as an assistant. Currently, alongside handling commissions from brands and styling for vintage shops, I continue to pursue independent projects to deepen my creative expression.

 

My goal is to approach every project with sincerity and depth, treating each assignment as a complete work of art, while simultaneously expanding the scope of my creative endeavors.
